Who is Your Life Endorsing?
This new year has been hard so far God has shown me there’s certain things He’s not letting me get away with this year and it has been so hard.
It’s been hard to hold myself back from reacting to situations in the way I’m used to. It’s been hard to fight back thoughts that are contrary to His Word. It’s been hard to not throw myself pity parties when things don’t seem to be going my way. It’s been hard to be disciplined. It’s been hard to not revert back to self destruction mode. It’s been hard to not run away when things have got hard. It’s been hard to not let my flesh run the show. The list can go on but moral of the story it’s been hard.
But who said it was meant to be easy?
Paul said he counts everything as a loss for the sake of Christ. This year I’ve decided to let God do the necessary work He needs to do in me so I can become the woman He always created me to be! This is just the beginning and though it’s been hard I’m not going to give up and throw in the towel! I was reminded today that we are in a war zone, a battle ground and just as I am praying- the enemy and his agents are praying against everything that I’m praying for- so I can’t afford to grow faint and loose heart! My destiny is as stake and the destines connected to mine are at stake too and so I cannot afford to take this walk with God carelessly it’s my lifeline!
We’ve been called to be the light of the world, the salt of the earth to give it seasoning and to preserve it! But if we have lost our saltiness to what use are we to the world? If we’ve become a bad copy of ourselves, the true originals how can we bring light to a world surrounded by darkness? It’s not the time to hide your light - it’s getting way too dark out there for us to dim our lights! We have the very solution to the world’s issues on the inside of us but how many of us will dare to live the type of life that will endorse the Kingdom of Heaven on earth?
How many of us are ready to carry our cross and follow Jesus? How many of us are ready to let Christ come in and invade the totality of our beings? How many of us are ready to die so we can truly live? How many of us are ready to live unafraid and unashamed for the sake of Christ? How many of us are ready to say not my will Lord but Yours be done? How many of us are ready to say yes and live in total abandonment to the One Who gave it all so we can live and have eternal life? How many of us are ready to Come Out Of Hiding?
